International Shipping Policy –

This includes US Territories (USVI, Puerto Rico, etc)

To ensure smooth processing, international customers are advised on the following guidelines regarding shipments to the U.S.:

·         Import Taxes & Duties: Capt. Harry’s Fishing Supply will receive a bill from the shipping carrier for the reel you sent us.  This bill is for import taxes and can be received anywhere from 1 to 7 months after we receive your package.

·         Shipping Carriers: The shipping carriers such as FedEx, UPS, DHL and the postal service cannot charge the import tax to you when you ship the package to us.  They must wait until the package is processed through US Customs to find out what the charge is, then bill us, the recipient.

·         Recommendation: It is highly recommended to bring your reels in person during your next visit to avoid these surprise fees.

·         Alternative Policy: If you must ship, the store will accept your package but will apply a 10% processing fee—based on the current value of a new, identical reel—to your repair invoice when they ship it back
